He is an Adjunct Professor at North Florida College, teaching and researching Business Law, Constitutional Law, and American Courts.

Earlier, Kyler served as a congressional aide to then-U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, UCF Student Body President, and a member of the UCF Board of Trustees.
